I loved the times together with DAD; when he had a new idea and was chomping at the bit to share it - his enthusiasm was both uplifting and infectious - I fed off that enthusiasm and applied them toward my own goals and ideas... Pete

What a wonderful blog...I have so many wonderful memories of Dad...but one that stands out for me is when Dad was having his by-pass. He took me aside and told me about Lai Tsi (An Eck Master)
and the poem that Lai Tsi wrote to God. He told me that he was reading the poem everyday and feeling so much better about everything and no fear about his operation.
He wrote the poem out for me and wrote a little note with it. I have kept it in a safe spot all these years. Whenever I feel stressed and unsure of things..I read the poem and immediately feel so much better. Dad was not only my Father but also my Spiritual Mentor. He was and will always be an inspiration to me. We not only had an outer connection through marriage but an inner connection that will never be broken.

I never called him anything but Grandpa.

As he assesses his life from a perch in heaven, I truly hope he's proud of the example he set for all of us, especially his three sons.

What a wonderful man. I thank God for the time I was able to spend with him.
